MAIN QUESTION
Do shop owners suffer due popularization of on-line shopping?
. according to my teams research activities ,the offline stores have taken a major hit. There is a drop in the sales of the stores . The main reason for this is the easy access of the net to an individual ,due to modern age globalisation .As the days go by the popularity of, especially electronics ,in offline stores has relatively decreased.

5) Do shop owners feel threatened by increasing online shopping? Why?
Yes, online shopping is threatening shop owners. Basically, online shopping offers more benefits- shopping from the comfort of your house, having a sufficient amount of time to decide, and a wider variety of products. This is something that offline shopping can rarely provide. Also, offline shopping is time consuming, involves labour and a lot of energy. Consumers pick online shopping, as it comes with its own benefits. As online shopping portals are on the rise, with the development of technology, shop keepers now provide to a smaller section of people. Therefore, shop keepers feel threatened.
6) Make a list of suggestions for local shop owners to be more competitive, customer friendly and customer centric.
The following is a list of suggestions shop owners could use:-
a. Equal distribution of attention- Often, people feel that they are neglected, because attention is not equally distributed, between all customers. Employing more people and better management could facilitate more buyers.
b. Wider range of products- consumers shop online, as it provides them a wider range and variety of products. Increasing the availability and kind of products would help.
c. Better advertising/Reaching out to more people would help.
d. Maintaining, if not improving, the quality of customer-service.
e. Pricing goods at par with online shopping portals- people often choose online portals over offline shopping, as the merchandise is better priced. Regulating prices for products would definitely help.
7) At the end of the arcticle the students will draw a conclusion ,including a recommendation for the owners of local shops in order to compete better with online shops.
At the end of the day, it is important to note that online shopping definitely has an edge over offline shopping, due to many reasons. A few of which have been mentioned above. Customer satisfaction, better services and value for money make people choose online shopping. Shop keepers will definitely have to strengthen their foundation, which is almost like starting everything from scratch.
According to my team a suggestion which just might benefit the offline stores is to construct more outlets of their respective store ,which would be in the easy reach of population. Furthermore they can market a wider range of products at a relatively cheaper price ,which in turn could benefit bothways.
