SIMILARITIES:-
People in Holland don’t prefer to use public transport instead use their own private vehicles and most of them have cars, like wise in India 80% of people use private vehicles such as cars and motorbikes for their transportation.
In India, during rainy seasons people who are driving have to suffer a lot due to traffic jams . The same case is in Holland too during rainy seasons.
DIFFERENCES:-
People in Europe prefer using cycles as a means of transportation, this leads to less pollution, wherein in India case is totally different, here people mostly prefer their vehicles like Cars and motorbikes as their mode of transportation for faster travelling.
Owning to population in the country the local trains are over crowded wherein in Europe tube trains are les crowded and relatively comfortable.
CONCLUSIONS
Our conclusion is the transport in our region is very different, people now days travel with their bikes, busses, cars, local trains and so on however traffic in Europe is relatively safe because most of people in Holland use their bicycles for transportation, In India Public transport is good but it could get better however people are also relatively satisfied with their means of transport,80% people here in India prefer private transport as mean of transportation wherein 20% remain rely on public transport.
REFLECTIONS
We loved the experience of working together with other people towards achieving a goal. The best thing we liked about the project was interviewing people on our topic.
