We now live in Drunen in the Netherlands. I lived in England for four and a half year. I am normally really sarcastic and have a really dry humor. I don’t know wat I want to be later when I grow up yet. I would really like to be a voice actor but that isn’t really realistic. Sub questions:
1 Define your region with a short explanation (5 lines). Design a map of your region, make a jpg of it and add the jpg to the article.
On the pictures you can see the
Town hall of Drunen and Waalwijk.
Ben and Isar live in Drunen.
Max lives in Waalwijk.
Our school is also in Waalwijk.
Waalwijk has got around 47.000 people.
Drunen has got around 18.000 people.
2 Identify the different kinds of food joints in your area. (Vegetarian, non-veg, fine dining, roadside, fast food, different cuisines, etc…) Photograph exercise
In the Netherlands we have different kinds of food restaurants.
We have Sushi restaurants, fast food restaurants, Chinese and Japanese in our region.
3 What kind of people frequent these joints?
You can see that most people eat at fastfood restaurants. Chinese is also a restaurant people visit a lot. Alsmost everyone goes to a restaurant.
4 Are the people of your region satisfied with the various eateries and their menu? Why / Why not? Research Survey must include people of different income groups and age groups
85% of the people we interviewed think that there are enough (different) restaurants nearby. You have a lot of choices. For example: Chinese, Mexican, Fast-food, Chic, Tapas, sushi, fish and pancakes. In general people think that there are too many restaurant of one type and too little of another type.
5 Does your school have a canteen/cafeteria? If yes, is the food hygienic? Does it require improvement? Why? If no, is there a need for one? Why?
100% of the people say that they have a cafeteria at school.
55% of the people say the cafeteria is hygienic.
Some people think there is too much fat in the food in the cafeteria.
6 At the end of the article the students will draw a conclusion, including a recommendation for the owners of the eateries 1
We can conclude that the variety of restaurants is enough, but there should be more balance between the different restaurants and not too much or too little of one type of restaurant.
People think the cafeteria at school is hygienic. We can recommend the cafeteria/canteen to use less fat in their products.
Conclusion
If people go to a restaurant they are likely to go to a fastfood restaurant, chinese restaurant or sushi restaurant. Most of the people go to a restaurant but there are also people that don't go.
